AST appoints Bongumusa Mbatha as a Business Development Representative
Bongumusa ‘Musa’ Mbatha, has been appointed as Alien Systems and Technologies (AST) new Business Development Representative effective from the 10 January 2023. He has been with the AST for almost 14 years having started working for the company in May of 2009.
Always one to grab an opportunity when presented to him he has occupied various positions within AST. His time with the company began when he was appointed as a creditors clerk in 2009, not one to shy away from a challenge he then took on the role of a site installer and later moved on to becoming a project manager.

He describes his time at AST as nothing less than spectacular, “ When you come into a place and know nothing about the industry it becomes a college with many opportunities to advance to any position you want,” said Bongumusa.
He looks forward to the new and exciting challenges that are to come with the new position as well as the exposure accompanied by entering a completely new field. Bongumusa expressed his excitement for the new role and states that he is up for the challenge, “I am starting something new, and I aim to succeed at it,” he added.
