Changes implemented by AST to follow transitional guidelines of SANS 1825:2020 and SANS 10019:2021
The South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) published the Transitional Guidelines for SANS 1825:2020 and SANS 10019:2021 regarding gas cylinder test stations. To ensure that Alien Systems and Technologies(AST) adhere to these guidelines we have implemented the following: ■ Ensure that affected personnel are trained on SANAS 1825:2020 and SANS 10019:2021, ■ Implement the use of test date rings, ■ Conduct vision tests on our inspection personnel. AST has also recently made changes to personnel working at our cylinder filling and test station, in the following positions; Technical Manager and Cylinder Inspectors.
