AST Appoints New Director: Vuyokazi Mdyada
Alien Systems and Technologies (AST) would like to announce the appointment of our new director Vuyokazi ‘Vuyo’ Mdyada effective from the 10 January 2023. Her Journey with AST began over 15 years ago when she joined the company in August 2007.
She started working for AST in creditors, however, her eagerness to absorb knowledge through taking up different tasks and roles cemented her position in the company and propelled her to new heights.
With over 20 years’ experience in finance primarily in fire industry, the highlight of her career has been the exposure to different fields, the challenges that come with the various positions she has occupied and the opportunities to grow and learn, “everyday you learn and every day you grow,” she says.

Vuyo describes her time at AST as constantly being exposed to new and different things and adapting to changes, “I have learnt so much from Francois and Paul and have been exposed to so much growth at AST,” she added.
