 PYROSTORM units are intended for extinguishing fires of solid combustible materials, flammable liquids and electrical equipment – Class A, B, C & E (European Classifications).
PyroStorm is a new generation of impulse, fast acting dry powder type generators & fire suppression systems.
The PyroStorm generators are hermetically sealed thus preventing any contamination, of moisture & dust, of the FUREX extinguishing dry powder contained within the unit. The PyroStorm Generators are non-pressurised, strong and lightweight, thus allowing for safe and easy installation and transportation.
Once installed they can be activated electrically, from a conventional fire control panel, manually or thermally via optional Pyroshield HAD (Heat Activated) or MAD (Manually Activated). Contact Pyrogen for further details.

Once activated there is a chemical reaction within the module creating a positive pressure, this will cause the internal discharge diaphragm to expand & ruptures allowing the extinguishing medium to evacuate at a rate of up to 35ms-1. This occurs in less than 0.5seconds from initial activation signal.
