The ASTounder forms a key audible alarm indicator in any fire protection system. It offers customers a highly advanced 21st Century sounder that is compliant to all the latest sound patterns used throughout the world complete with low profile dimensions and pleasing aesthetic design.

- Flexibility, with two mounting base options. The standard base model provides low profile features for recessed and 'back entry' wiring. For applications requiring surface mount wiring and or a higher level of protection, the deep base IP65 is available.
- Screw fixing into the base together with a rubber seal gives excellent resistance to moisture and dust ingress.
- A four position volume control allows precise volume matching between sounders. With a wide range of operating frequencies all of the fully synchronised tones have been selected to comply with the latest sound patterns and frequencies used throughout the world.
- A suitable standard compliant tone is easily selectable via the DIP switch.
- The use of a third wire enables a second stage alarm to be switched in to override the selected tone.
- A protective moulding allows access to the terminal block and DIP switch and eliminates the chance of mechanical damage to the electronics during installation and throughout the product's life.
